A new report published by the International Livestock Research Institute has evaluated the knowledge, attitudes and practices around antimicrobial resistance and stewardship among poultry value chain stakeholders in Soroti and Wakiso districts in Uganda.

The report's authors also propose strategies to promote good antimicrobial stewardship and interventions to control antimicrobial resistance

The report is an output of the Boosting Uganda's Investment in Livestock Development project and is in line with Uganda's antimicrobial resistance national action plan.
